New features: The Polls & Attendance page will help you tame the feedback loop when organising a team trip

Organising a team trip is never a straightforward process, but it’s not rocket science either. As with many things in our lives, it gets easier with experience. Or a little bit of help. At NextRetreat, that’s our mission: to make it as streamlined as possible for you to focus on what matters most and to ensure you continue to take the time to develop a strong team.

When building new features, we consider direct feedback from our users. Polls and the Attendance page are the perfect examples. So, without further ado, what’s new in the NextRetreat app?

New features: The Polls & Attendance page will help you tame the feedback loop when organising a team trip

1. Introducing the Attendance page – what your team members see

Some of you are already familiar with this page. Still, we wanted to take a moment to introduce it. The attendance page is where your team members interact with the trip’s organisation. In short, your colleagues can:

  • RSVP; confirm their team trip attendance with a simple yes or no response
  • Update their travel information (arrival, departure, passports etc. – more on this here)
  • Fill-in food requirements (eg. dietary), sleeping requirements or any other preferences
  • Answer any outstanding Polls to provide you with direct feedback (see feature below)
  • Write a review & give feedback to organiser after the trip is concluded

Very simple and easy to navigate. Our goal was to make it so that your colleagues have everything in one place. Little things like this can help you save time and, sometimes, sanity – both are very valuable commodities when organising a team trip.

Check out a short video from crash course explaining the Attendance page feature.

2. We are streamlining the organisation with Polls – helping you save time while organising the next team trip

We just mentioned Polls on the Attendance page, but let’s rewind and talk about it being a key feature in streamlining the decision making process, helping you tame the feedback loop as fast as possible. Sometimes, when making important decisions, you want to get the opinion of some or all of your team members..

Sometimes, when making important decisions, you want to get the opinion of some or all of your team members. It’s the best way to collect feedback on shortlisted venues, proposed activities or anything else.

Imagine this: you want to run a selected shortlist of venues with your colleagues to make them decide which venue to book. You don’t have to make any exports; instead, you hit a button to create a new poll. Then select what venues to include in this poll, check a box to notify your colleagues, and mission completed.

Well, kind of… they still need to vote 🙂

As we want you to explore these new features and help you streamline the entire process of organising a team retreat, offsite or in-person meetup of your remote team, we now offer a free 3-month trial period for every newly registered user.

There’s absolutely nothing standing between your next team trip and saving up to 90 % of your hours spent organising it except this little button below. Sign up & start organising your next team trip!
